REMINDER: EGC Summer hours will be from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m. New members with applications filled out should arrive at 12:30 p.m. Range/safety orientation for new applicants will be held immediately after the general membership meeting. COWBOY ACTION SHOOT - 3rd Saturday of each month. The EGC’s “Lake County Pistoleros” sponsor a SASS match that is open for registration from 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. A mandatory shooters meeting is held at 9:15 a.m. We try to start burning powder as close to 9:30 a.m. as possible.

5th  SUNDAY SPECIAL HAPPENINGS - Every month with 5 Sundays, the Cowboys will hold a special happening at the Cowboy Town of Swampwater.  Check their website for more information.

EGC/4-H TARGET TEENS MATCH - 2nd Saturday & 4th Saturday of each month beginning at 10:00 am on the 50-yd range (#5) This program is limited to 24 shooters. Air rifles and equipment are supplied. Contact Gary Mckinney at 352-753-9899 for details.

“SMOKIN PIGEONS” 4-H SHOTGUN GROUP - meets each 2nd and 4th Saturday at 2:00 at the shotgun range during the school year.  This is available for participants from 10 to 18 years of age.  The club will supply all clay targets and shotguns if the participant does not have one. Members are also members of the Scholastic Clays Target Program which is a nationwide program for school age children.  Participants can shoot in local, regional and state matches and state winners can go on to the national match and possibly win scholarship money of college scholarships. New shooters receive individual training by certified shotgun instructors. Participants will shoot Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays.  Parents are required to supply all ammunition as well as eye and hearing protection for participants.  For further information contact Bill Brown at 352-551-6757 or Lee McNutt at 352-753-9321.

3-D ARCHERY - held on the 1st. and 3rd. Saturdays of each month at 3:00 at the shotgun range. Twenty shooting stations at various distances and environments are offered. MUZZLE LOADER/ BLACK POWDER MATCHES - 1st Sunday of each month beginning at 8:00 a.m. Shoot black powder muzzle loaders with the EGC’s “Skunk Skinners”.  Match fees are $5.00 for EGC members and $7.00 for guests. SHOTGUN SPORTING CLAYS - Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and first Saturday at 9:00 a.m. EGC members can shoot for $10.00, guests ($16.00 + $2.00 insurance fee), for a 60-round course. Clay targets are provided. Wednesday and Thursday is practice days at the same time and fees. Shooters can practice any shots they might be having trouble with or want to try. SHOTGUN TRAP MATCHES - Every Tuesday and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. EGC members can shoot a 25-round match for $4.00, guests $7.00 ($5.00 match + $2.00 insurance fee). Clays will be provided. SHOTGUN SKEET MATCHES – Every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. , Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday at 12:30 p.m. EGC members can shoot a 25-round match for $4.00, guests $7.00 ($5.00 match + $2.00 insurance fee). Clays will be provided.  Call Director of Shotgun Sports Jim Coniff at 352-357-2324 for details.
